Skin Care Creams

The skin around the eye has no fatty tissue. This means the skin is thinner and more delicate, making it more susceptible to damage. Using a skin care cream for eyes can help fill in fine lines and plump up loose, crepe-y skin around the eye area.

A skin care cream for the eyes may not be that different than the moisturizer that is used on the rest of the face. These creams do tend to be thicker however and can contain light-reflecting pigments that can help brighten under eye circles. The one drawback to eye creams is that they often don’t contain sunscreen.

The skin around the eyes is thin and can be very sensitive to the sun. Look for a skin care cream for eyes that contains some kind of sun protection for the day time. Nighttime eye creams obviously don’t need sunscreen but they should be safe for the eyes in case the cream is accidently rubbed into the eye during the course of the night.
