Skin Care Lotion

Lotion is by far the most common beauty product out there. Lotion is easy to apply and is thinner than creams. The best lotions contain emollients that seal moisture into the skin and keep it hydrated all day long.

For the best results with skin care lotion, following the three minute rule: all moisturizers (facial and body) should be applied within three minutes of stepping out of the shower. This locks the maximum amount of moisture in. Look for body lotions with mineral oil or lanolin for extra suppleness.

The skin on the body is not as sensitive as the skin on the face but that doesn’t mean that the lotion doesn’t have to be hypo-allergenic. Look for lotions that are dermatologist approved and are non-comedogenic. Non-comedogenic means the formula won’t clog pores.
